Using state of the art technology, we ensure our patients the latest in surgical techniques and equipment available. That is why we are using vibration system for an even more gentle liposuction.
Liposuction can be done at neck, upper arms and forearms, abdomen, back, hips, calves, thighs and lower legs. Furthermore it can be used to help male patients in case of an excessive breast enlargement (pseudo gynaecomasty).
Liposuction is an outpatient procedure and by using the so-calledtumescent local anaesthetic method. Bigger units of a physiological saline solution with a local anaesthetic and other necessary medicine, are infiltrated into the chosen areas. Fine vibrating needles are used to widen the tissue so the solubilised apidose can be extracted.
The procedure is mostly done outpatient in local anaesthesia in our facilities in Munich, Germany and takes about 1,5 to 2,5 hours. In some, rather rare, cases liposuction can also be done in half-sleep or general anaesthesia.
After 3-4 days there is usually no more physical discomfort and two weeks past the surgery all kind of physical activities can be practiced again.
